Choose a modpack
Before you can install a modpack onto your server, you'll need to choose a modpack that you want to play. You can find modpacks on websites like CurseForge, Technic Launcher, or Feed the Beast.
Purchase a server
In order to install a modpack onto a server, you'll need to have a server set up first. To purchase one first head over to our Minecraft server container lineup by clicking here and follow all the on-screen steps.
Download the modpack
Once you have your server set up, you can download the modpack from your chosen website. Make sure to download the server files for the modpack, not the client files.
Install the modpack
Extract the downloaded modpack files to a folder on your computer. Then, upload the files to your server using an FTP client like FileZilla or through the server's file manager found on your Pixelnest Dashboard.
Configure the modpack
Some modpacks require configuration before they can be played. You may need to adjust the server properties or edit configuration files for certain mods in the modpack.
Start the server
Once the modpack is installed and configured, start the server using the server software you installed in step 2. Join the server.
Finally, connect to your server using the Minecraft game client and the server's IP address. Make sure to use the same Minecraft version as the modpack to avoid compatibility issues.
